So he can be prosecuted for all of his crimes before coming into office, which will keep him busy and in jail for the rest of his life.

Oh, and while they're at it, go ahead and prosecute him for crimes he committed in office anyway and let him go to court (if he's not in jail and has any money left for lawyers) to challenge the prosecutions by trying to get the courts to uphold the constitutionality of self-pardons, which they won't.

Yes, I mean exactly that. Cut a deal with him and then renege on it. Because he doesn't deserve an honest deal.
