150. they often do think the utilities will keep coming.

Feb 2021

Dallas and others cities that froze, lost the Natural Gas, Electricity, and the pumps that deliver the water and natural gas to the entire city went out. The water will come back on when the mains in the streets are all repaired or replaced. I would guess that the entire hot and cold water lines in every house, as well as the water heaters will have frozen and burst. And I am sure that some cities have failed to think about the sewer system and the pumps at the sewer treatment plant and pipes have probably frozen and burst also.
The "ripple effect" or "cascade effect" of the freeze will start to be seen with tons of other things trashed by things that they haven't even thought of. And, I have to wonder about the water cooling pipes and pumps on the Nuclear power plants.......

With millions and millions of homes and buildings severely damaged by the frozen pipes and leaks, we may actually see some home owner's insurance companies go bankrupt.......

And I can guarantee you, that premiums for home owners insurance are going to go sky high across the nation in the near future.
Hail, Flooding, Freezing, hurricanes, tornadoes are all increasing and costing the insurance companies a fortune more than they planned on spending.

After all the wildfires last year and this year, the insurance companies have quit writing policies for structures in the mountains and forested areas, and not renewing policies when they come up for renewal.......
