This time, Redfield saying Covid was likely released from a lab in China has touched off their excuse making again.
There is no evidence Covid-19 came from a lab, none. We know for sure is wasn't a manmade or manipulated virus. Could it have been in animals in a lab that Chinese scientists were studying? Sure, that's possible, but there is simply zero evidence supporting that right now, none.
They're desperate to blame someone for Trump's failures and to take focus of Dr. Birx blaming Trump for hundreds of thousands of deaths this weekend. This was not Chinese attack, it likely had zero to do with a lab, and on the remote chance it did it was not a manmade or man manipulated virus. So on the remote chance it did escape from a lab, that changes nothing. Trump still botched the response. Trump still downplayed it. trump still praised China for months before he needed someone to blame for his failures.
