5. Honestly, I used to spend a lot of time on

a local right wing web site, even got banned there for 6 months. I realized that a rational person can't debate an irrational person so I cut way back on my time there. Now I just take pot shots. I fire off posts, threads and articles rapid fire, and then don't go back for several days. It is more fun that way to see the carnage and consternation that I caused. Usually when they have no response to my post I get called a baby killer, that is their fall back position. I am also a Chinese sympathizer, a commie, a Socialist un-American.

They are excellent at name calling, not so good at critical thinking or common sense. I do know that they can never be converted back to living in reality. I read an article about why they cling to guns and religion, they are afraid to confront their mortality. I always thought it was because mommie took away their binkies too soon.

I was deeply involved in politics back in my younger days. I led a revolt to stop a coal cleaning plan being installed in a flood plain within our tiny borough. I took on our local mafia. We had the largest number of borough residents attend a council meeting, that record still stands. Wes topped the coal cleaning plant and my involvement got me elected to borough council for 2 terms in a red neck town.

I donate money now. One organization that needs more publicity is the ACLU. I ask that people donate to them, they are on the front lines.
