The former president (not to be confused with "the former guy" ) tried playing with you and got the "Lucy always yanks the football away" treatment for eight years. People on your side voted against bills they themselves had sponsored when he said "Okay, we'll do it your way, but let's get something done" moments and your guys faced the prospect of having to smile and be photographed with him at a signing ceremony.
