5. This is why everyone should be concerned about police misconduct. Even if you are a racist Ahole

This should bother you. Police budgets are bloated enough. But the fact that their misconduct results in civil lawsuits that taxpayers end up footing the bill for, should outrage everyone.

Think of all the ways that this money could be used in different cities. Its just outrageous. Citizens everywhere should be demanding that police stop this behavior, if for no other reason than a monetary reason. I am not faulting victims for suing. But in what other profession, can you cost your employers huge damages and you are able to continue in this job.AND, sweeping overhaul to prevent future occurrences does not take place?
