their attitude toward the rest of the state.
My husband's brother lived in Queens and worked in Manhattan (WTC). We visited him there a few times. When we lived in Cleveland and his brother visited us there, he called Cleveland a "quaint little town" and asked there was an orchestra, art museum, or any theater in Cleveland. I told him that he was being provincial and there really is a civilized world outside of his NYC cocoon.
I could live in moderate sized cities and I have. I could not live in NYC, but it is fun to visit.
