I used to draw blood in hospital setting. One time I entered room, lone elderly female patient, nothing in room but her tucked into bed. As I prepared, with my usual 'banter' she suddenly said "I don't know how I'm going to pay for this". I almost started crying. How can people heal under this kind of duress!?

I can agree with most of that, but it still means we are close to a failed healthcare system
