(31,261 posts)50. I haven't noticed any paper plates. It is likely that I simply overlooked them.
When I have bought new vehicles, they came with the metal plate, and registration. I have never purchased a used vehicle, so I dont know how that system works.

Paper plates displayed are legal in many states, when the vehicle owner is awaiting metal plates.
