I still have psychological issues from corporal punishment and threats of it.

Why is it legal to struck a child when, as adults, it’s considered assault?
It causes psychological harm and I hated my father until he died. And still do.

Physical punishment is a vicious cycle that begets more violence, hate, fear, retribution and long lasting psychological issues.
