That it's a technicality why the Fairness Doctrine doesn't cover cable news, only the airwaves that were awarded by the FCC. I see no reason that cable shouldn't be covered by such a basic tenant as TRUTH !!
On what planet or country does the "news media" get to lie through its teeth with absolutely no consequences whatsoever??? Surely there are countries out there that we can learn from and model some kind of appropriate legislation.
