that were a cause for alarm. The statement in September strongly implied that the police had shot her in self defense (without mentioning that she was lying on the ground when she was shot, and unarmed). And then no one did any investigating, till this KUOW reporter decided to look into it.

And even now, there has only been this one radio story, and the main paper, The Seattle Times, isn't touching it. When I mention it to people no one has heard of it.

I don't know why her parents aren't speaking up more strongly. Her dad was interviewed by NPR and made his unhappiness clear. But if I were him I'd be doing more.

Maybe they're trying to focus on the little boy.
