1) Someone else quickly emerges as a clear successor, rallying the support of the MAGAs enough that rivals do what they do best and knuckle under again. What he loses in not being Trump he gains among the fence sitters who didn't like Trump and pretended to wash their hands by voting Libertarian.
2) No leader quickly emerges, and they fall into a circular firing squad, the MAGAs not accepting anyone as good enough, splintering their votes among factions.
3) No leader quickly emerges, letting the Old Guard reassert control by being the only remaining effective force, returning them to the clown-car days of 2012.
