In reply to the discussion: Kyrsten Sinema [View all]zaj
(3,433 posts)31. Great article... summary: it's complex
She's operating from a mix of perspectives:
- a person who knows how to win elections to gain power
- a personal philosophy about about protecting institutions
- a desire to be an institutionalist who has power to make change
- a flippant gadfly who believes socializing helps, and probably makes her happy
She's won an election she should have lost, but the HR1 might be the thing that she spends her political capital on. We'll see.

She is very insecure and needs constant love-bombing. Don't let her presentation mislead.

McCain 'thumbed down' to save the ACA and help common folk, she emulated McCain to hurt them.
