There are a lot more women in the US who would vote the way their husbands do, or how their husbands tell them to, than the other way around.

Chump and evangelical churches tried to turn 2020 into the "rapture-armageddon" showdown, and it really churned up a lot of crazies that normally aren't regular voters. I think that's were the 6% uptick may have come from.

Speaking as a 70-year-old white woman, it makes me sick to think that ANY American women were stupid enough to be fooled by that orange asshole. But it is what it is.
