35. His credibility will wither and blow away in the wind, but . . .

he will leave behind a strong legacy of divisiveness, hatred, racism, ignorance and willful delusion that may well signal the end of the American dream. The Founders all believed in a Republic whose citizenry was well educated and well informed. They would have considered a high school diploma as evidence of education, and a trained and open mind seeking out diversity of opinion as being well informed. Boy, were they wrong!

75,000,000 voted for Flubbo the Loser a second time. I cannot see that as anything but a sign of hopeless fragmentation and ultimate balkanization, not on ethnic but on intellectual and moral grounds.

The Left argues among itself over moral and ethical issues -- because the Left takes those issues seriously.

The Right isn’t burdened by such things and so, like a person deprived of conscience (or who has simply shucked off conscience) can lie with impunity, praising the Lord of Love while characterizing a murderous mob as everyday tourists, dissuading their own constituents form getting vaccinated against a disease that has killed 600,000 Americans in a year and a half, passing voting restrictive laws in response to a never-existing problem with massive voter fraud.

The 75 million worship at the altar of a sociopath and his paranoid-delusionary ministers, while those ministers and their plutocratic donors all laugh out loud amongst themselves about the suffering caused by their governmental negligence and by their outright deliberate attacks on the non-wealthy. (“No, no, no, no,” said Ex=Senator and marginally human being Rick Santorum, “we do not want to do the will of the people.” And the GOP voters all nudge each other with a drooling grin and say “Now there’s a man who knows what America’s all about!”)

I haven’t given up on Old Glory -- but I may, after the 2022 elections, if things do not go as well as they should for the Democrats.

TFG won't be happy about this. Time to get out the popcorn!!! Yoyoyo77 Jul 2021 #1

Same reason we call Jimmy Carter "President". Kaleva Jul 2021 #16
I have noticed, more and more, (at least on the news I watch) they refer to him as just "Trump." Rhiannon12866 Jul 2021 #18
A google search reveals no references to 'President' Jimmy Carter without a 'Former'. Hugin Jul 2021 #19
I tend to refer to President Carter, President Clinton and President Obama Rhiannon12866 Jul 2021 #22
None for President Obama, either. Hugin Jul 2021 #23
It shouldn't be a bonus, the candidate who gets the most votes should be the one to serve Rhiannon12866 Jul 2021 #24

They do call The Loser Man 'President' so it's a CYA. n/t Hugin Jul 2021 #10
It's common practice. No different then calling Obama "President". Kaleva Jul 2021 #17
I assume this is a CYA maneuver to stave off lawsuits. ShazzieB Jul 2021 #13
