(36,017 posts)really don't know how to responsibly exercise their free wills both for themselves and the interests of others.
I gotta conclude that they don't really know they have this problem, and that they're not amenable to learning how their choices maximize their lives and the lives of others, or they don't know how to learn, and that their problem of free will irresponsibility might lead to others' deaths (I don't know about the "kill" part); iow, they always deny they have a responsibility problem, and so learn the hard way while others suffer. They're the ones who don't know how to participate in this democracy, and yet benefit because others do.
Without institutional maintenance (schools, public health systems, media) of human development, we end up with a lot of unknowing humans who are a drag on life, liberty, property and national problem solving for the rest who do know how to look out for theirs and others' best democratic interests. They're a blight on the nation, not just the body politic.
