Yes, some people can drink more than others. But it is mostly a function of size/weight. If a person claims not to be an alcoholic because they can "function well" while drinking a lot of alcohol it probably means they are an alcoholic. Denial is one of the symptoms of alcoholism. Besides, Rudy is not high functioning when he is stone cold sober, let alone when he is drunk.
