Since I'm in New York State and that's really happening here now...
My two friends who work in the local hospital both got vaccinated last January, before the vaccine was offered locally. They had to drive an hour downstate to a major hospital to receive the Pfizer. But then I spoke to an older gentleman I know (mid 80s) who said he wasn't getting vaccinated since his daughter who is a nurse at the hospital isn't getting the vaccine and he gets his medical advice from her. He said she'd sooner quit her job - and it looks like her time has run out.
