5. I never believed it from the start

It was too stupidly outrageous.

I happened to be in Chicago when it happened. The polar vortex was absolutely vicious. I have a picture somewhere of the local weather forecast when I was there. Wind chills as bad as -50. I could only go outside to shovel in five minute shifts. And that was with many, many layers.

So this whole, "Just walking through the city for a sandwich!" bit had everyone going, "Sure." The noose and bleach and MAGA hats. At 2 AM. In Chicago.

Just stupid. The man's a narcissist.
