They actually banned building minarets with this ad campaign:

Look at what the non-white hands are doing to Switzerland:

Xenophobic people in rural small towns can certainly appreciate the benefits of clean power generation, a good transportation system and environmental protections. But, remarkably, their politics tend to look a lot like xenophobic people in rural small towns.
