Yes so much is riding on our next elections.

I don't know if democracy will hold or not.
I truly don't.

Churchill had a terrible time convincing his colleagues and FDR that Hitler was a real threat. Even the European capitals falling like dominos didn't really see the threat at first and aligned with Hitler. Even when the storm troopers marched in. British parliament members wanted to make a deal with Hitler even after Hitler invaded Poland, France and other European countries.

Churchill didn't give up and just kept speaking out. Then others finally saw he was 100% correct.
