(9,168 posts)108. I was a jock on an FM top 40 station when most of those were hits.
Try playing Starland Vocal Band every 90 minutes. I couldnt change the station; it was the only one coming out of the monitors. I was music director, too. That meant I had to move it from hot rotation to recurrents and keep it on the air, when even the sales people were sick of it.
Theyd bitch, and Id say How do you think I feel? By the time most of this stuff becomes a big hit, Im ALREADY sick of it.
