Some (maybe all?) of the four Capital Police suicides were by firearms
There were pipe bombs and weapons there that didn't work or didn't get used.
That too was a very messed up event and like the school shootings, could have been worse.

As for the locked doors, part of the misguided delay at Robb was trying to find and get the keys to the classrooms where the shooter had barricaded himself.
