before the J6 Committee. Apparently, he still did take the Fifth before the Committee.

Criminal investigations are exceedingly complex, and the Fifth Amendment is a real issue for the FBI. Things have to be coordinated precisely. It sounds like the investigators (Congressional and FBI) are getting new information on a daily basis.
