8. I have had female republican friends here in TX

confide in me that they are pro-choice. Some have said it outright. Some I see quietly liking the posts of younger women speaking out. They have been women who have had careers and they know what it means to have this taken away. We need them to vote in midterms.

We had a recent school board election here (it was combined w/city council) - local races - and we only got about 5% of eligible voters to come out. Local elections are often dismal like that - TX has been gerrymandered to death & they do not make voting easy. But 5% is still a remarkably low number - so many folks out there choosing to not even try.

I don't know how to fix that. Maybe some sort of PSA campaign in the media urging voting. IDK but open to ideas.
