14. Yes. I lived in Turkey for 15 months while in the USAF.

I was stationed at a small base overlooking the Black Sea. Just down a hill from my barracks room was a mosque, less than 100 yards from my window. So, I heard the calls to prayer quite clearly, five times a day. I quickly got used to them, and they served as a clock I didn't have to look at.

Islam, in Islamic countries, is a very public religion. Very public, indeed.
