Vancouver is considered the northern part of the Puget Sound, while Seattle is the southern part. Vancouver, WA, is also just across the Columbia river from Portland (and was the home of the original Ft. Vancouver before it relocated to Victoria in 1862).

Southern Cascadia would jump at the chance to join Northern Cascadia.
