Just like the useless torture of suspects at Gitmo.
Like cops with knees on the necks of black males.
Letting people die of horrible Covid deaths.
Letting school children get mowed down with assault rifles.
Now letting women die of horrible complications from pregnancy.
The sociopaths who now make up the GOP are ruthless and sadistic.
They like to inflict pain on others, they get off on the pain and the power trip.
Terrorizing and inflicting pain, also serves to demoralize a population, to make them surrender, give up, makes them docile and obedient.
Same thing Putin is doing in Ukraine at a much more intense level.
