6. Dems appear to have it together this cycle

I've seen the type of messaging I've been waiting for for a long time. I can speak to here in MI, but the messaging has been on point, "Republicans are extremists." Democrats stand with the people on women's rights, on the middle class, and on all of the important issues.

And something that was controversial was Dems backing extremist GOP primary candidates to run against. But at least where I am it is going to pay off in spades. We're going to flip my House seat from a Republican to a very progressive Dem. Whitmer and the Dem SoS and AG will easily win re-election, and we're going to flip the State Senate all while voting to protect abortion rights on a ballot initiative.

Funny thing is, I haven't seen any spending from the Republican side yet, all the TV ads are for Dems. They either don't have the money, know these races are lost causes, or they don't know quite what their messaging is going to be yet.
