21. I'd like a cooler (and preferably no pay wall) rendition of what allegedly happened

It does read like there is a lawsuit or three that could be filed. But the dailykos linked article points to an original story on a site called "The Advocate." The first thing that link does is tell me I have one free article I can read, and then it pesters me multiple times (with a popup and in-article links) to sign up for a paid subscription.
