4. This North Carolinian strongly agrees!

Not only did we ALL lose a Democratic Senate seat - in a year when it is essential to hold onto the Senate majority - lackluster turnout in NC's Democratic cities lost us the state Supreme Court and now we're facing a super-majority in the state legislature.

All of this would have been different if we had had more support from the Democratic Party! Rallies led by President Obama, ads refuting the lies the Republicans spewed about Beasley, an on-the-ground effort to get out the vote. I think we would have had a blue wave in NC. An opportunity wasted.
