29. I am calmer overall

Plus points: The environmental laws are more stable since Biden took office. I can sleep better at night because there is not a riot or demonstration or national upheaval every month. I don't worry about loving and conspiratorial meetings between Biden and Putin or any threats to withdraw from NATO. I feel that grown ups are once more in charge of a great many things and it is reassuring to me that the people Biden appointed stay in office. You are not reading or hearing about the Secretary of this or that quitting or being fired every few months anymore.

Minus points: Socially things are worse. I no longer feel close to some people who I had been friends with for many years due to their unwavering support of TFG. I can't understand how they can live with their choice to support him. It is a private sort of feeling, since I say very little about it to them because it would just make the gulf widen. The pandemic changed the way a lot of people socialize. Many older people I know get out less and do less because they are afraid of getting sick. People I know who got sick with COVID 19 before a vaccine was available are getting sick a second time with a variant of it a year later, vaccine or not. If they got sick once before they seem more vulnerable, not less.
