I am almost 74, a cancer survivor, a retired RN. Since I had a mastectomy, I can only have injections in one arm. I am planning on getting a flu shot and then the COVID booster when it is available. Made a plan with my doc on how to space the three vaccines out. I had a very mild case of COVID which I believe is because I had every vaccine available.
I believe in science. When people talk about having thoughts and prayers for surviving an illness, I know that thoughts and prayers comforted me during my cancer treatment, but science, medicine and education cured my cancer.
I just want to avoid getting sick if I can.
I asked the pharmacist if the RSV vaccine would also become yearly and he had no idea. If it is, I will get it with flu and COVID as I planned above.
