When I first read this shoe salesman story on DU, I couldn't believe it. I thought it was a joke that went over my head or an inside joke amoung long-time DU members. I studied the shoe photo hoping to spot some hilarious 'Hidden Picture." Frustrated but still disbelieving, I finally checked other news sources for the solution to this mystifying meme. CLUNK! It was no joke, no riddle, no meme. And it still makes no sense.
