Thanks for the post!

I recently had mine forgiven! I've been paying for many years but was able to have a very, very low monthly payment (around $30). I graduated in 1998 and have had deferments and forbearances off and on throughout the years but have always been in good standing.

A couple of weeks ago I called my loan provider because I haven't received any notifications in quite some time that I needed to start back (there was a long period during COVID and afterward where a lot of borrowers were able to put their loans put on hold). That's when I found out!

All in all I paid the principal back and was mainly paying interest (so I'm not a sloucher)!
