(2,426 posts)G and the DOJ knew the informant Smirnov was feeding Russian propaganda to Repubs, and G did nothing about that at all. When the report was handed over to the committee, it should have come with a huge red flag, but it didn't. In fact, it should not even had been released, because it was known it was a pack of lies to begin with.
Garland needs to be called on the carpet, even to the oval office, to explain his failure to warn and his inaction to locate and arrest Smirnov. Then fired, as in go home do not go back to the office.
In essence, as is Jordan and Comer, they knowingly aided and abetted the enemy --- treason..
Why do we let these things go? I mean, I read about Smirnov's lies way back before the committee was formed, and it amazed me that nothing was done to call out his lies. Smirnov's lies were ignored from the very beginning.
