I am so acutely aware of the danger, the catastrophe of another Trump presidency. I just cannot imagine that me, here on the other side of the globe, is one of the few who realise this.

If we were to take much of the reporting on trump, Biden and the election at face value, that is, exactly how it is worded by the various media, it would appear that there is some kind of honest, close contest going on.

This is NOT the case. Much as MSNBC and its presenters are beloved. Much as we trust the commentary of Vance, McQuade, Weissman, Litman and others (and I will not even suggest they are bad people) they are doing a job for money.

To make a living, the media must produce conflict. When they can't produce it out of the hat, they must manufacture it. This is the nature of a multi billion industry that really needs to have people talking about it's last broadcast.

Ok, I'm wandering off the beaten track. I believe that you, my American friends, have been schooled to accept, if not appreciate conflict.There are forces, entities and organisations at work who could outdo Streitcher and Goebells in propaganda and they have invested billions in making you doubt what you see and hear with your own senses.

Stand staunch my friends. I doubt it's as close a race as most media outlets would like to present.
