For these big holidays, I'm so damned exhausted by the time the food gets plated and plattered and put on the table, I can neither taste anything nor enjoy it. I have to ask someone else to see if it was okay.
Three solid days on your feet chopping and mixing and baking and cooking, you're in a stupor, your back and feet hurt, and all you want to do is go hide. Thank goodness Mr. Frazzled is the main dishwasher, because once the last thing comes out of the oven, I don't want to have anything more to do with it.
