It was about political and cultural wars. When Windsor asked him about the court, his response was that the courts told us limited.
He is entitled to personally believe whatever he wants, as long as he follows the law in his decisions. It is those which should be scrutinized, not his private conversations on non-court matters.

They understand the constitution lets a majority of justice decide cases however they want.
