...after this week's events, I think the Democrats would be well-positioned to lose in November.

But because Biden stayed, he's presenting a calming leadership that reminds Americans why they voted for him four years ago - especially contrasting to the chaos that continues to be MAGA Republicans. His being the president RIGHT NOW is neutralizing this because he's out looking like a LEADER.

It's crazy to think that a week ago, so many Democrats were calling for him to step aside because there just isn't a candidate right now who has the gravitas for this situation - not like Biden as an incumbent president speaking to what is likely a very jaded nation.
