Including me…

No, seriously, this is the supreme Super Bowl of politics. I used to think that there were big fucking deal elections, but we all know that if McCain or Romney had been elected, we would still be living in America, you know, the one founded in Philly before Tastykakes, cheesesteaks, and soft pretzels. More on that later…. But this sociopathic brat could single-handedly destroy the nation. Frankly, he’s already halfway there.

Many years ago, a friend of mine in school used to reflexively say, “It’s all bullshit…there’s nothing to know.” Mind you, we were studying for doctorates and it really got on my nerves, because he said it at least twice a day. He became an adequate clinician, and retired with a reasonably successful clinical career…he didn’t kill anyone, but for him it was a job, not an emotional investment or experience. He slept like a baby nightly. Fair enough. I on the other hand, treated it as though I was invested, over-invested frankly, and am totally PTSD’d and an emotional wreck, only feeling somewhat better in the last six years or so. So…who was the fool? A question I try not to answer. To this day, I don’t have a single decent night’s sleep. So perhaps you have your answer there.

This political turmoil has ruined my sleep even further. I haven’t been able to escape this glowering motherfucker for what, nine years? I only want to live long enough to read his fucking obituary. In a way, he has ruined my life even more than all the professional bullshit has. Depressing and really unnecessary but there it is.

I feel about this guy like I felt, interestingly enough, about Hannibal Lecter when I read the book. Frightened as fuck: Thomas Harris’ book is much worse than the film , true for all of his Lecter books, and the films are relatively tame by comparison. Why I read them all is beyond me. I mean, just because I’m Jewish doesn’t mean I have to suffer, you know.

But back to my point, whenever Philadelphia is shown on national tv, the above-mentioned foodstuffs are invariably shown being prepared or sold, as though that’s what we are all about. Meanwhile, eight blocks from where I did body and fender work on people’s mouths was the location wherein two of the most significant documents in history were signed by what was the radical bomb-throwing group of colonists, as far as the British Empire was concerned. It metamorphosed over two hundred years into the most stunnningly powerful nation on Earth.

Who would ever guess that an ignorant, diseased, mentally inadequate and pathological in every axis individual, could appeal to a sufficient number of people that these documents might be rendered moot. It’s like the prequel to a horror-filled apocalyptic film.

People better get out there and vote against hate and evil, or the fatalities we suffered during the pandemic here will pale in comparison to the genocide which will certainly be implemented. Don’t believe it? Ask my extended family in Europe. Oh…you can’t…they were all cremated in the ovens of the concentration camps. Make no mistake, that is a scenario in the unpublished version of 2025: Death to Democracy. You don’t really think they put everything in the book do you? Not a chance. It’s worse than you think.
