I live in a heavily Democratic county - Broward. Many Democrats are under pressure to switch to Trump because he is “pro-Israel.” Netanyahu clearly wants trump to win. I know, I know. The fact that 70 per cent of Israelis want Netanyahu gone does not negate the fact that Netanyahu has been the face of Israel since the Clinton years. Even Democrats who are in favor of two state solution are worried that the Democratic Party is turning away from Israel.
I am not sure that Josh’s pro-Israeli stance is not an asset to our chances of winning. He could solidify Jewish vote (solidly Democratic) and suburban vote (leans Democratic).
It might just be that in order to save Israel we need a strong push to create a two state solution coming from Democrats. A Democrat got the State of Israel; a Democrat got peace with Egypt; only democrats can get a peaceful solution. We offer something other than the Rapture.
Every time I think Shapiro will hurt us, I keep thinking of his absolute energy and strong moral compass. President Harris will need a bulldog - Bobby Kennedy type - in her administration.
I still lean Walz for labor vote and experience. Either way we are sooooo lucky.
And F Donald Trump. Shapiro is his worst nightmare. He knows Shapiro helps with white women voters. He will steal the Haley voters.
