48. Why do people keep trotting out this stale nonsense?

He's now a convicted felon, so few countries will let him hide out with them. Some of them won't even let him set foot in their lands for that alone.

He can't abide people who 'talk funny,' and he's too old and stupid to pick up a foreign language as many countries require to live there.

Nearly every country that doesn't extradite to the US is brown and/or Muslim. He's alienated nearly all of them, one way or another, so they have zero interest in taking on the hassle he'd be.

Other countries aren't as enthralled with him as moron Americans are, so they won't give him the attention he thinks he's due.

Worst of all: Other countries have real journalists who will not kowtow to him or fluff him. He will not be able to bully them, so they will ask hard questions and demand followups and clarity from him. He can't stand that.

Anyone who thinks he's leaving is missing some fries from their Happy Meal.
