23. OMG my heart so goes out to you

I am in tears as I post this. I too had a slight case of autism, but major ADHD and some anxiety as a child. I struggled with trying to be "normal" with my peers, getting, teased and mocked. I had language issues also because I came to the US from Germany. My teachers couldn't understand why I wasn't able ti sit still like other kids. My saving grace was that I could sing like you wouldn't believe. Since I was ina Catholic school it carried me quite far and I feel very blest for that talent.

Keep on fighting for your child and others who suffer from these issues. Our job is to make the world understand. May you be graced with strength and the assurance that so many of us suffer from such conditions and that also so many admire you and wonder if they could fill your shoes.
