45. I wish people were waking up, but I don't see it.

I just talked to some typical folks yesterday, and they said things like, "They're all corrupt. Harris is no better. Sure, Trump is bad, but he wants to stop taxing tips, and then Harris picked that up. It was his idea." BS like that.

The convention is awesome. Yes, the Democrats probably have at least a dozen high-profile people who would make excellent presidents. But it's preaching to the choir. MAGA ain't changin'. How we win this election, I'm not sure, but we must. But if the unthinkable were to happen, I don't think the Democrats should accept the results. If you think Jan. 6 was something, I would suggest the Democrats would have no option but to use whatever strategy was necessary to keep Trump from taking office. That, IMHO, is where we are.
