and end this horrific war. Civilians on both sides of the conflict are begging the leaders to come to a compromise.

I do agree that the other poster's point about immediately negotiating is unrealistic. That said, I don't think Israel needed to turn all of Gaza into a graveyard. Bibi's response has been excessive, and I believe him to be a sociopath. I think another leader would have been more measured in response.
