I knew you since coming here, and we always bantered in a kind hearted way. At no point had we many disagreements, as your good nature and wisdom always tried to see the bigger picture. Our shared disdain for Greenwald, our mutual respect for those who suffer under tyrants, and the understanding that sometimes, we must go to war.

Because The Only Thing Necessary for the Triumph of Evil is that Good Men Do Nothing.

Our shared understanding that inequity cannot be allowed to persist. That sometimes comprises must be made. That sometimes people must work from the middle. Our mutual disdain for the Soviet sphere and our shared knowledge of how desperately hopeless it was. Our disdain for modern Russia and their imperialist designs.

You were Good Man and poster here at DU for 23 years. You will be sorely missed, Sir. Thank You For Doing Something.
