I can attest to the mail in the Memphis post office sitting for sometimes up to a couple of weeks. For packages with tracking.

That's not counting all the mail that absolutely disappears from the Memphis post office, FedEx, and UPS in this region. (It is a huge problem that nobody seems willing to address and has been going on long before DeJoyless removed 5 high-speed mail sorting machines.)



Interestingly, in Shelby County (Memphis and surrounding area), if you get an absentee ballot, the ONLY way to return it legally is through the USPS.

Yeah, I'll be voting in person on election day.
