39. Because my signature varies

From the years ago when I signed whatezver they are comparing it against. My arthritis comes and goes. I voted early in-person a few years back, and on the way out, asked them to check my ID. I was told it was good I did, because my ballot would likely have been rejected as not matching.

I would never have found out.
